This Week

I’m watching…

Amaze-balls.  Are you watching?  You should be.  Catch up on Season 1 on Netflix streaming if need be.  It’s such a wonderful escape, with enough plot and characters to be interesting, but not so intense or realistic that it gives you a headache to watch.  It’s still fun for me to watch and try to figure out which person is going to be which fairy tale character and watching pieces of the classic stories fall into place.  And Snow White and Prince Charming are dating in real life!  Dreams do come true 😉

I’m anticipating…

A great Girls’ Night Out on Friday with the squadron wives’ club.  We’re trying a new restaurant in Oak Harbor, and it’s going to be a last hurrah before the boys are due back.

I’m dreading…

The rain and dark and general gloom that is November in Anacortes.  I’m irritated at all the stores stocked with Christmas items on November 1st, as right now it’s not putting me in a cheery holiday mood, but rather, making me think of all the shopping and organizing and stressful things that have to “get done” before Christmas.

I’m reading…

It’s the second book in a YA dystopian series (the first book is Gone).  Everyone over the age of 15 just disappears one day and then some of the kids start developing special powers.  It’s no Hunger Games, but it’s a good read, and decently paced.

I’m laughing…
